HOFTAN APARTMENTS REFUND POLICY, TERMS & CONDITIONS.
1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, stays, and services provided by HOFTAN APARTMENTS.
By making a reservation or staying at Hoftan Apartments, guests agree to abide by these terms.
2. BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY
All reservations must be guaranteed with full or partial payment.
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, POS, cards, and approved online payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave).
Rates are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated.
The Hotel reserves the right to change rates without prior notice, except for confirmed bookings.
3. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in time: From 2:00 PM
Check-out time: By 12:00 PM
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
Valid identification is required at check-in.
4. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
4.1 Standard Bookings
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before check-in: Full refund.
Cancellations made 24–48 hours before check-in: 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in: No refund.
4.2 Non-Refundable Bookings
Discounted or promotional bookings may be non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or early departures.
4.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.
Refunds will be made via the original payment method where possible.
Bank transfer charges or transaction fees may be deducted.
5. NO-SHOW POLICY
Guests who fail to arrive without prior notice will be charged the full booking amount.
Rooms will be released after 24 hours of no-show unless otherwise agreed.
6. EXTENSION & EARLY DEPARTURE
Extension requests are subject to availability and revised rates.
Early departure does not qualify for a refund unless approved under exceptional circumstances.
7. DAMAGE & LIABILITY
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property.
The Hotel reserves the right to charge the guest for repairs or replacement.
The Hotel is not liable for loss of personal belongings; guests are advised to use in-room safes where available.
8. GUEST CONDUCT
Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful manner.
Illegal activities, including drug use, are strictly prohibited.
The Hotel reserves the right to evict any guest who violates policies without refund.
9. SECURITY & VISITORS POLICY
Visitors must be registered at the front desk.
The Hotel reserves the right to restrict visitor access for security reasons.
Overnight visitors may incur additional charges.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
The Hotel shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or power outages.
11. PRIVACY POLICY
Guest information will be handled in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
Personal data will only be used for booking, communication, and legal compliance.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
